Pastor Steve Tompkins is originally from Oklahoma City, OK. He accepted Christ as Savior at age seven and followed in believer's baptism shortly thereafter. He was called into ministry at age nineteen and has been serving the Lord ever since. Brother Steve is a proud veteran! He enlisted in the Air Force in 1990 and left in 1998 to complete his education for ministry. He graduated from Wayland Baptist University, Plainview, TX in 1996 and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX in 2002. Soon after graduating he became an active-duty U.S. Army Chaplain and retired from the military in 2022. Over the years he has pastored numerous churches and chapels.
Bro. Steve is married to the love of his life, Julie. They have been blessed with three children: Tyler, Abby, and Sam
